MEMBER ENGAGEMENT OFFICERS (PART-TIME)

Polio Survivors Ireland is recruiting two part-time Membership
Engagement Officers (**Apply on the website** ? Hours per week). The
focus of these positions is to support and facilitate the engagement
of people with disabilities from polio with the organisation and their
fellow polio survivors. These roles are not generally office based
although regular attendance in our Dublin office is required.
Extensive travel is involved along with some evening and occasional
weekend work.

**Apply on the website** ? hours per week, plus pension contribution
of 7% of salary following completion of 9 month probation period
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
* Support our network of social support groups around the country &
encourage & facilitate members to engage with these groups
* Assist members and non-member polio survivors to engage with the
organisation, it?s activities, meetings & events
* Build the competence & confidence of members in the use of
communication technology
* Organise area meetings & other events & encourage participation by
polio survivors
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
* Experience of supporting people with a disability or older people
* Experience of organising and facilitating meetings & events both
in-person & online
* Knowledge of the community & voluntary sector
* Strong skills in the use of MS Office programs, CRM databases and
Zoom
* Highly organised individual comfortable managing their own time
and multi-tasking
* A full clean licence, own car & willing to travel & work away from
home
